What's happening in Teddies?

We have been......

We have been busy, busy, busy since the October half term, lots of dancing with colourful and multi-textured scarves to a variety of music and sounds has got our bodies moving and shaking on these cold frosty mornings.
Our babies have been making the most of the falling autumn leaves, crunching and scrunching them on the carpet with buckets and spades. We have also brought some of our outdoor equipment (eg slide, see-saw) in to the warm to play with inside.
We have been raising money for lots of different charities and organisations, the most recent being Children In Need. Between the raffle and the sweetie jar the nursery raised £110.20 for some of the neediest children in and around the UK. A BIG THANK YOU to all of our parents/carers and guests who gave money so generously. Also a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Mann's Food Store, Andrew's Fish Bar, Toni's Hair Salon and the Parade Bakery and Pizzeria (all located in Market Square, Farley Hill, Luton) for donating such fabulous raffle prizes!

We will be......

The Teddy Bear Babies are doing lots and lots in preparation for Christmas, learning our Christmas songs and experimenting with musical instruments ready for our Christmas Play and Concert on Tuesday 14th December.
We will be exploring different textures, touching and feeling tinsel and glitter and much more for sensory fun. The sparkly tinsel and glitter will also be helping us to create some Christmas masterpieces.
December is definitely going to be jam packed with fun filled activities, we recommend you pop in to the main playground to check the Life Channel TV regularly to ensure you don't miss anything.
