Welcome to Pandas!

Welcome to our Panda Room where children are at the heart of everything we do.

Our Pandas enjoy a wide and varied curriculum EYFS which prepares all children for the reception year.

We aim with your help, to build a sound foundation in the Early Years to enable children to grow in confidence and independence, enabling the successful transition to "Big School"

Children are supported in play/learning, and developing through fun based activities. Each child has his/her own Key Person who will be introduced to you prior to your child starting with us.

Children are encouraged to recognise their own names, which are used for self registration/placemats.

A free flow system is in place where all children can access the inside/outside area - these areas are planned according to the EYFS and children are supported/observed through play.

We have a well resourced outside area - Large apparatus for children to use - A secret garden where children can grow/eat their own fruit/vegetables - have the opportunity to upkeep the garden (Watering the plants - weeding) and learning all about various smells/textures of plants. There is a Story Tellers Chair with small mushrooms for children to be seated on - staff read Stories/Nursery Rhymes in this area.

Children have the opportunity to access a smart board where there are educational activities and child friendly programmes.

Our caring/friendly staff are always available should you have any concerns

PLEASE SEE THE NURSERY PROSPECTUS FOR MORE INFORMATION
